There are many types of magic skills.
Magic effects include dealing damage, restoring HP, moving disciples or monsters, and even summoning familiars.
You can change your magic formation using the Change Magic option from a disciple's Magic screen.
Magic skills must be equipped to be used!
There are light magic skills, shadow magic skills, and exclusive magic skills.
Each must be equipped to a matching slot, so be sure to pay attention to what kind of magic skills your disciple can equip.
▲ Equip light magic skills in the blue slot and shadow magic skills in the red slot. Exclusive magic skills cannot be changed.
Remember that light and shadow have their own separate loadouts.
What are exclusive magic skills?
Magic skills that have a disciple's face on their icon are exclusive magic skills.
These are fixed to the specific disciple, and cannot be changed.

Exclusive magic skills represent the personality of the disciple, with each having an effect befitting that character.
Keep this in mind when deciding who to take into battle, and how to equip them.
When a disciple gains a level, their magic is also enhanced!
Most magic skills can increase in level.
* Note that starting magic skills (e.g., Minor Impact, Minor Pull, Minor Heal, Minor Sting, and Minor Dark Sword Flier) cannot gain levels.
Increasing the level of a disciple increases the level of the magic skills they have equipped.
The best way to gain levels for your magic skills is to bring a variety of disciples into battle.
